BIO

Lisa Keating is an international jazz vocalist, dynamic performer, and passionate advocate for the arts whose work is guided by a singular mission: to translate the beauty she sees and feels into shared experience. Whether at the piano, on stage, or within the creative communities she champions, she brings a warm, refined presence that resonates deeply with audiences.
“A mellow and welcoming cup of coffee enjoyed on a Sunday morning.”
— Dani Mardayat, Photographer
A California native now rooted in the vibrant artistic community of Santa Fe, New Mexico, Keating performs original music and beloved standards in English, French, and Portuguese. Her voice has drawn comparisons to Natalie Cole and Stacey Kent, and her performances are intimate, transportive journeys through the Great American Songbook, jazz standards, Bossa Nova, and the works of Bacharach, Sondheim, and beyond.
“Lisa Keating is an excellent performer. Her ability to captivate an audience with her voice, piano and song choices is remarkable.”
— Edred Breedlove, NM Music Award Winner & Owner, Cafe Colibri
Her multidisciplinary artistry extends beyond the bandstand. Keating has performed internationally, including a residency in Nagoya, Japan, and has appeared at venues such as The Jazz Bakery in Los Angeles, The Actor’s Studio in New York, and El Farol in Santa Fe. She has toured the western United States and Mexico with the original theatrical production Purge! (produced by Kathy Bates), and collaborated with acclaimed musicians including Howlett Smith and Christof Luty.
